Allan Murtagh (Maintenance Controller / Director)

35yrs of aviation experience whose qualifications include NZ Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and Commercial Helicopter pilot with nearly 12000hrs flying. Began his career in aviation in 1973 as a draughtsman/engineer for James Aviation. Employed as pilot/engineer for Glacier Helicopters from 1978-1982. Owned and operated Heliwork NZ Ltd and Forest Aviation from 1982-1999 with a large cliental base including contract operators to Carter Holt Harvey. Currently CAA approved maintenance controller for AMC NZ Ltd. Has proven experience in all aspects of the helicopter industry including operations, maintenance and civil aviation requirements.

Sam Murtagh (Software Engineer / Managing Director)

A Mechanical Engineer with over 5 year's experience in the Robotics and Automation field. Working overseas for four years in the roles of Project Manager and Site Supervisor, Sam has an in depth knowledge of customer expectations, demand and working under strict time constraints. Involved in the aviation industry since 1993 Sam has a commercial helicopter pilot's licence, and has completed the CAA Maintenance Controllers Course. Sam is also currently a pilot for the Northland Emergency Services Trust.

Sally Murtagh (Technical Records Controller / Director)

A Physiotherapist who started out in the Aviation industry in 1979 at Glacier Helicopters in Fox Glacier. This was followed by 25 years as co-owner of Heliwork NZ Ltd, and later Forest Aviation Ltd, operating in all fields of aerial work and air transport. Now with AMC New Zealand having completed a Maintenance Controller's course in 2007, responsible for data entry into the program and producing service advice and technical directives.
